Hello, my name is Patrick Smits and I am 47 years old.

I am a Consultant in Organizational Developmentand and a Business Coach. I coach teams and individual executives.

My experience is mainly in Business Development, Team Development and Leadership Development.The approach I use, is based on experiential learning, positive psychology, action learning and human performance technology.

After law school I studied an MBA in France. Further I am a trained OD Consultant ( CIGO, KUL Leuven, Belgium, MOD Case University, Cleveland US) and an accredited Coach/Counselor (Gestaltcounselor, NVAGT, Belgium).

I have more than 15 years of corporate experience with Cargill and ING as former employers. I worked as a consultant for ING, Exxon, Kodak, EMC², Honda Europe, Lanxess, Wabco, Bayer, Case New Holland, Carglass etc…

I am a father of a six years old boy and live happily together. When I am not working, I play Saxophone, practice Aikido or Hike in nature with my Weimeraner, Zahra.

Further, I am an avid collector of Vintage Fountain Pens. It all started with a Waterman in Sterling Silver of 1925 that I heritated from my grandfather. After I had it restored, one pen after another found their way to my desk. My friend Francis, who was for many years R&D Manager at Capsugel, inspired me for this. He redesigned the Sheafer Plunger Filler and made it better, to nearly perfect. I am the proud owner of one of his prototypes.
