Hello, my name is Patrick Smits and I am 52 years old. I am an Executive Coach and coach mainly teams and individual executives from Commercial organisations.

My experience is mainly in Business Development, Team Development and Leadership Development. The approach I use, is based on experiential learning, positive psychology, action learning and human performance technology.

After law school I studied an MBA in France. Further I am a trained OD Consultant ( CIGO, KUL Leuven, Belgium, MOD Case University, Cleveland US) and an accredited Coach/Counselor (Gestaltcounselor, NVAGT, Belgium).

I have more than 15 years of corporate experience with Cargill and ING as former employers. I worked as a consultant for ING, Exxon, Kodak, EMC², Honda Europe, Lanxess, Wabco, Bayer, Case New Holland, Carglass etc…

The main reason to start this blog is to share my ideas, the books that  I have read or other interesting models. Many people ask me for references or books. I used to share books and give titles. But frustratingly, I had the idea that the books were not read.
